"Kitsuki-san, greetings. If you're prepared", he flourished his bokken, then slipped it onto his red obi, settling into his stance. As he did, his flat, dead eyes opened wider, their lifeless depth radiating an uncaring menace uncharacteristic of the person known as Hikimasu.

Edogawa's blade raced past him as he leaned slightly, moving adaptively. His hand took hold of his bokken firmly and as he twisted it out of his obi, his other hand met the grip. With a step he swung the weapon directly into the Kitsuki's body, cracking the wood like a whip against his ribs.
