Bo offers a smile and a, awkward, bow to the Unicorn as they square up, "I reckon it's rude to wish luck so... uh... good fight!"

He takes a stance that would make a Kakita weep, both hands near the handle of the bokken as if... well as if presenting a gift as awkwardly as Bo does actually.

Around them the universe pauses as if to watch the match unfold... and to correct any glaring errors it reveals.

Mitsuki didn't think any further and struck forward with all she got in a single fluid movement, confident in that her weapon would hit flesh one way or the other.

Bo's duel training had been 'if they challenge you, punch 'em in the face and hide the body'. Daidoji-sensei had always loved cracking jokes like that.

Since he knew it had to be a joke, obviously, it left him ill prepared in an actual duel. So it was no surprise that the Moto landed the first blow, though it glanced off his form with little more than a bruise and a torn sleeve.

That said, as much as he wished otherwise, his strike was already on its way before he knew the outcome was decided.

Thankfully it did no lasting damage to the fierce warrior though his brow still furrowed in worry and he had to bite his lip to refrain from apologizing or asking if she was ok knowing either to be likely ill-received by a bushi.

Mitsuki dodged the counterattack and readied herself for another strike, her fighting instincts screaming that since the man was still standing, she had to hit again, harder.

The judge shouting the point snapped her out of her trance. She had already won apparently.

She took a deep breath, "sheathed" back the bokken in her belt and bowed.
