He could certainly see someone making a mistake that looked very much like the Kitsu.
"For myself, I try to keep prospects open as well. As i said, spoiled for choice", the Scorpion sighed and looked at all the birds gathering. "It seems we've drawn a crowd."

The Kitsu looked to the gathered flock.
"It's almost like they expect something grand to happen. Like we'll suddenly throw off disguises and turn into Kabuki actors or somesuch."

The Scorpion obviously saw more to his words than he intended. He offered a bow to the Scorpion.
"I only meant to think of an event which might shock the birds - that was the first I thought of. Forgive me if you saw my statement as deeper than that."
