With the weather still looking a bit iffy outside, Shika Pei Pei has assembled the candidates at the Theater of the Missing Fan. This time, a wide arrange of instruments adorn the stage. If the Rokugani can strum it, blow it, or strike it for music, it's here. There's even a large gong emblazoned with the mon of the Deer for those feeling particularly bold.
Shia Pei Pei bows again to the assemblage.
"As you have hopefully known since yesterday today's competition is centered around music. But as you were told, today's compositions will be entirely duets. Hopefully you found some time yesterday to find someone you can work well with and perhaps practiced a bit with. After all, a good marriage is about harmony." she explains.
With that, she moves to observe the first participants:

This is a team event. If you were not able to find a team member, please inform the gm so you can be provided an npc. Each paired team should begin their own thread in the theater and link it here. To finish the event, each team needs a total of six momentum points. This requires a TN 2 Performance check. Each member of a given team must choose a different approach from each other, and alternate rolls (Minimum 1 roll each). The team scores 1 momentum point for passing the check, and 1 momentum point for each bonus success. You may not continue to roll after you have scored at least six points and both team members have rolled at least once. Assistance is not permitted.
Scoring priority:
Fewest number of rounds (1 roll from each partner is considered a round) to hit 6 momentum
Most combined opportunities used to impress.
Highest number of combined bonus successes.
Highest momentum past 6.
Most opportunities used to impress by a single pc.
Highest number of bonus successes for a single pc.
Highest average status
Highest average glory
Highest average honor
