The theater yet again opens it's doors to admit people in from the summer rains. Bayushi Minae looks at the notice with a small grin before locating the seat she wants.

[Otomo Akimoro]

Akimoro, on his arrival, gravitates toward whatever passes for the VIP section in this establishment. A raised eyebrow suggests that he finds the accommodations adequate, if perhaps somewhat lacking.

Raizo, as had long since become habit, turned up for the fifth day or dramatic offerings.

Tempting the temporal shenanigans, Bayushi approached Nesshin. "Shika-san," he greeted with a respectful nod. "I hope this day finds you well."

A certain Scorpion noted the arrival of the new Imperial, and made her way over to him.

"Ah, Otomo-sama. I understand that we've been most deprived with your absence, but are now blessed with your presence." she opened with a deep bow. "With your permission, allow me to introduce myself. I am Bayushi Minae. I hope this evening finds you well, if a bit damp from the inclement weather."

A certain Scorpion noted the arrival of the new Imperial, and made her way over to him.

"Ah, Otomo-sama. I understand that we've been most deprived with your absence, but are now blessed with your presence." she opened with a deep bow. "With your permission, allow me to introduce myself. I am Bayushi Minae. I hope this evening finds you well, if a bit damp from the inclement weather."

Akimoro returns the bow, and moves aside slightly, inviting Minae to sit.

"Quite well, I think, although I must admit that I haven't fully adjusted to these charmingly rustic surroundings," he responds. "I do wish I'd been able to arrive earlier but...well, you know, affairs of state wait for no man. Have I missed anything of interest?"

[Shika Nesshin]

"It has thus far," he replies, "and I hope as much is true for you."

Emiko arrived to watch the play, being less tired now compared to how she was earlier. She was curious how this one would play out, with a name that reminded her of how she'd been referred to in the past.

Akimoro returns the bow, and moves aside slightly, inviting Minae to sit.

Minae sat, and took out a crimson fan with the Scorpion mon emblazoned boldly upon it, which she gestured about the theater with before bringing it back to make her words a bit more private.

"Oh you know Otomo-sama. The usual cast of characters with all their flaws and faults stumbling their way towards an uncertain future filled will romance and misunderstandings." she offered sardonically.

She grinned a bit.

"There's even been a few plays put on in between all that."
