The days and days of rain meant Senseki hadn't found a chance to visit the gardens under the sun yet - and also probably meant removing fallen leaves and other rubbish to keep them as beautiful as possible was probably even more important and labour-intensive than it would be otherwise.
Thankfully for the Sparrow, doing that sort of thing was exactly what often liked to do to let off some steam. So there he was, sweeping and and collecting leaves and taking the chance to take a better look at the flowers and possible fruit that had been gathered in the gardens.
