"It doesn't matter if it is for political gain or a blessing from the fortunes. The marriage that is made for political gains is one made from trust to the Clans and Empire. If you lack trust of the person you are married to then you are lacking the trust of those who put that trust in you." She sighed. "You probably haven't met someone with your expectations in this miai.

"Oh. My expectations. I am certain I've met." He says, still looking upwards, since that was pretty clear to him. "As for my Family's. That remains to be seen, since they deposited that trust onto the Deer."

"Then should be a joyous occasion if the Shika and set prospect is matched with such as yourself." She smiled and gave a single clap.

"It would indeed. The chances are dim, though." He says and looks to the Kaito, "I believe I am not scoring as I should to be able to accomplish that."

"Well I have taken some liberties, I have not done as well as others. Keep in mind that these tests are just for the Shika to measure compatibilities with such." She shook her head. "It is not an actual competition to be the best. It shows where one is lacking training and where one excels. Seems this one excels in shooting arrows."

“Nani?” He cocks his head back. “These trials are utterly nonsense. I have absolutely no clue what they are trying to measure from us. I dare say many others think the same. I am pretty sure this is a competition. Whomever scores higher will be granted the Deer’s favor of first choice.”

"We are not the ones to pick... the Shika are the one's to pick who will be paired with who. That is the job of the nakodo to observe and see who is compatible with who." The Kaito explained.

"Indeed. That is something I will always respect and reinforce." He mentions and takes a deep breath. "Thank you for the company. Kaito-san. I shouldn't bother you anymore today."

"No bother at all Lord Seppun sama." She nodded and gave a seated bow. "This one is at your disposal."

"Thank you. Kaito-san." He nods, and departs.
