The Kaito got the oils she needed and went to fetch bottles. The clumsy monk didn't see where she was going that she stumbled onto the Kitsu.
"Ohmyohmyohmy! I'm so sorry..."

The Kitsu, also unaware, grunted as the shrine maiden collided with him. Unlike his usual speed, he simply stumbled rather than trying to catch her. Once he recovered, he recognized what had happened and bowed to the Kaito.
"Ah, Kaito-san. Has Inari-san cared for you well?"

She was in apology mod and hasn't realized who she had collided with. "Gomenasai gomenasai..."she bowed repeatedly. Then the voice was recognized. "Huh? Oh my... Kitsu sama are you okay?"

The Kitsu was radiant - an unusual state for him. It was as if he was the moon himself - a ray of light radiating through him, using him as a means of announcing itself to the whole world.
"The best I've been in a while, honestly - why do you ask, Kaito-san? Have things been progressing well for you?"

He began looking and collecting the dropped goods, but not knowing what she needed, he couldn't truly help. Instead, as he looked, he pondered a question before asking.
"Have Soyokaze-san and Murato-san been behaving themselves?"
