"Getting to know everyone better is what we're here for, seems like." Yasu nods in easy acceptance of such plan. "Be foolish to turn down a chance to talk about everyone with a trained matchmaker. Almost feels like an unfair advantage!" She leans a bit closer with a conspiratorial shift to her tone. "Given what we fight against, the Crab are trained to welcome even the unfair advantages. We should definitely talk about everyone at the events. See what sorts you're fond of too, neh?"

She notes the color coming to the Otter's cheeks. Sun or...she looks to the hair pin clutched close then smiles, "You should try it on here with all the nice mirrors. See how well it suits you." Holding out the hand that isn't clutching her own shopping, the tall woman adds "I can place it if you'd like?"

[Usogawa Narumi]

"Hai, any advantage is worth taking, Kuni-san has the right of it. And this one would very much enjoy assessing the collection of candidates with you," she pauses to think for a moment, the smile growing some upon her lips then, given Yasu met her in conspiracy. Very good.
"Oh!" The Crab offers to place her hair piece, and Narumi hesitantly nods, and hands over the carved bone, regarding Yasu closer than before, looking up at the taller woman. "This one would be most appreciative, and thanks you kindly."

The decoration is small in her hands, the smoothness of the polished bone is pleasant to feel, slightly cool. Yasu takes a moment to look at how Narumi's hair is set already before choosing where to place the new piece, pushing it in one direction before angling it back to the intended orientation to catch about her hair and lock securely into place.

The smooth lines and simple cream are elegant against the Otter's dark hair. With both hands, Yasu turns one of the displays with an attached mirror toward Narumi. "Good? Could be nice angled off to the left too."

She very much enjoys the sensation of the Kuni's soft touch.
"If it pleases Kuni-san's eye, then this one is sure it will catch the fancy of any suitor," she drops her gaze as a light smile resurfaces, intrigued by the emotion the mysterious Crab elicits. "Thank you."

[Kuni Yasu]

Yasu's laugh is open and genuine. "Thanks for the vote of confidence on my ...hmm...sense of beauty? aesthetics? Not sure everyone agrees, but it's nice to hear. Anyway, I could fix your hair with forest twigs and you'd make them look good." She steps back to a more Rokugani-appropriate version of 'personal space,' before setting aside all but one of the obi she'd collected so she could pay for her new outfit.

She raises a painted eyebrow and shakes her head lightly. "Your kindness ebbs off you in waves, Kuni-san." her gaze moves to the chosen obi, and her head tilts, "A beautiful choice. It will drawn many eyes."
