At a brisk pace from the direction of the edge of the island, the Kitsu jogged before spotting the Imperial. Stopping his jog and giving himself a quick tidy, he bowed before the Imperial. He remembered hearing about another Seppun through the love of his life - was this it?
"Seppun-sama, this one, Kitsu Moshumaru, wishes to present himself. Is now a good time?"

“Ah! Kitsu-san. Good morning. I hope Inari-kami has been kind. Seppun Yuzu, Governor of Chisei. Treat me well.” He bows to the Lion, confirming, “Hai. This is a good moment. I am in my way to get some noodles, if Kitsu-san is interested.”

The Kitsu nodded, thinking of his feet.
"Well met, Seppun-sama. It is always he honour of the Right Hand to serve the Emperor's chosen - it may be a small gesture, but perhaps I can cover the cost of today's luncheon?"
While the Seppun considered his offer, the Lion considered how he would sway the Imperial to his side.
Even though he would enjoy being treated by the Kitsu, the Imperial holds back, and offers himself, “I am thankful, yet I cannot accept. First, I outrank Kitsu-san, it is my duty to cover any expenses. Then, the Imperials and the Deer are well connected and it would be important for us Seppun to continue with the sponsorship. Please, allow me to invite Kitsu-san.”
