At a brisk pace from the direction of the edge of the island, the Kitsu jogged before spotting the Imperial. Stopping his jog and giving himself a quick tidy, he bowed before the Imperial. He remembered hearing about another Seppun through the love of his life - was this it?

"Seppun-sama, this one, Kitsu Moshumaru, wishes to present himself. Is now a good time?"

“Ah! Kitsu-san. Good morning. I hope Inari-kami has been kind. Seppun Yuzu, Governor of Chisei. Treat me well.” He bows to the Lion, confirming, “Hai. This is a good moment. I am in my way to get some noodles, if Kitsu-san is interested.”

The Kitsu nodded, thinking of his feet.

"Well met, Seppun-sama. It is always he honour of the Right Hand to serve the Emperor's chosen - it may be a small gesture, but perhaps I can cover the cost of today's luncheon?"


While the Seppun considered his offer, the Lion considered how he would sway the Imperial to his side.
