"Of course!" Nesshin says, happily.

At root, he's a simple young man. And, for the most part, he's eager to please.

Koi smiled warmly. "So, did you enjoy the previous night? Nice little gift for being so kind to me at this Miai."

She chuckled. "By the stars, I was not expecting Inoshishi -san to be here after all these years."

"I did enjoy it, yes," Nesshin says. "And I hope you did, as well."

He grins salaciously again, winks. "And if you'd like the roles reversed sometime, I'd be happy to oblige."

Koi smiled warmly, a playful minxy smile appeared on her face. "Have you had the chance to meet Kasuga Yoshi yet? I think you should become friends ."

Koi was open to that idea but it was clearly there was something in the ritual of finding the potential mates that gave her satisfaction.

The Moth smiled happily at him, awaiting his reaction.

"I've not," Nesshin says, "though I think from your tone that you have. Perhaps you could introduce us?"

He chuckles.

"You seem pleased at the idea, of course, and I've enjoyed, ahem, locking antlers with other bucks now and again."

She smiles. "I have not enjoyed him in such a fashion but the future is bright." She whispered, teasing. "I like my male friends to meet and sniff each other respectfully before becoming friends. I dont deal with drama, and I do not tolerate duels for bruised egos."

She had never mentioned this before to him, kind of a unspoken rule but sometimes such things needed to be said.

She waved her hand. "Meet him without me, please. Become friends. I request that."

"I'll see what I can do," Nesshin says. "Of course, friendship's not a one-way thing, and I can't speak for others.

"Although a Tortoise is likely to know things of interest." He grins again. "Or to make them happen."

Koi smiled. "Fear not my sweet Deer, I shall flutter in his ear so that appropriate meetings and horn measuring can be done in a friendly manner."

The Moth laughed finally before looking down. "I hope so, I want him to join my staff. His clan works in the Embassey and would be invaluable resource to have."

"Ah," Nesshin says, nodding. "That puts a different spin on things.

"Though a Tortoise's still a good person to know if you want things."

He opens his hand to her, heedless or uncaring of the public nature of the place.

"Like I said, I'll do what I can...Koi-chan."

Koi blushed fiercely at that, and just held onto his hand lightly. "Thank you."

The Moth rose, and said softly. "I have some more stuff to do in the market, will you join my escort or are you still being punished with temple cleaning?"
