Soyokaze hadn't meant to take a nap, he didn't have time for sleep, but felt so much better. he let go of the cushion he had been hugging in his sleep, her cushion and stood up, lazily stretching and pulled off his kimono, it was time to get back to work.

"Asahina sama, are you in?" A familiar call to the young artisan.

Maybe he was still tired but being called -sama caught him off guard and he didn't realize who it was right away, perhaps it was his assistant returning for something. "Hai, come in, did you forget something?" He did not turn around right away.

The priestess came in with jingling bells. "Yes, I did..." She giggled. "To bring you some food."

Soyokaze froze as the enormity of his error hit him with the jingling of her bells. Too late he dove for his kimono, trying to hide the ruined mass of scars on his back from her. "Bai-chan! I 'm sorry I was not decent, uh...a moment please." He ducked behind his partition and quickly worked to make himself presentable. "Thank you so much for coming, I'm famished. How has your day been?"

"I am still a bit sore... but that is what I get for do much temple duties." She giggled. "I brought Takoyaki I hope yo like it."

Soyokaze looked puzzled. "Sore? Did you hurt yourself? Did someone hurt you?" Waves of concern and anger flashed across his tired features and he rushed to her side. "What happened? Please sit." He offered to take the food from her hands.

"I was on temple duty yesterday... and fell." She just laughed it off. "Typical Bai... nothing to worry about."

"Oh my kami are you okay? Can I get you something? Wait!" He reached into his kimono and grasped something, with a tug he ripped free an orange cord from his neck with Bai's healing balm tied to it. "Will this help?"

The young lady cleared the his bangs from his forehead and kissed it. "Don't worry. I am fine." She rose her hand to stop him from giving her the vial. "No need... Don't you get sore after a long days work that you can feel it the next day?" The Kaito didn't want to worry the poor Asahina any more than she could.
