It had been more than a week since they had spoken. Murato seems pleased that there is a connection with someone.

He nods in greeting.

She noted how Raizo lit up at the sight of his ronin and smiled with a nod to them both, happy to see the bastard happy.

Here’s hoping Koi would forgive her, again.

In her haste to arrive, she narrowly misses smashing through a shoji screen, dodging through the right doorway, and drawing up short at the sight of all the assembled.

With quick movements, she makes sure she looks presentable in her best Kimono, tugging the stitching into the right position and bowing. She’d forgotten her hair in her haste, to be not-so-late, and it ungraciously flops forward, a perfect counterpoint to her finest bow.

Koi smiled softly before nodding. "I shall accept then, thank you kindly Shosuro-san, it is very sweet of you." She accepts the gifts and genuinely taking a moment to inspect the box and opening the box noting Aimi and Inoshishi's arrival.

The tall, potbellied, Japanese version of Steve Buscemi wearing colours of the Deer Clan seemed actually invited into the room but seperate where he can have something to eat and drink but seperately as he was still after all doing his duty.

She would walk over to Inoshishi and give her a strong hug before slipping to Aimi offering her a hug as well.

"Friends - welcome. Thank you for coming today." She said warmly. "Please everyone take a seat."

Hm. Glad I ate light earlier, Nesshin thinks.

I wonder what this surprise is for later.

Murato nodded to Koi's words and followed along. There was honestly a sensation to the room that he felt he didn't fit with. He cared for many of them, but most seem to have something more intimate going on, while for him, until a day ago Koi had been uncomfortable because of his face being used by a creature trying to kill her. That was the wrong kind of intimate for the party.

So he just continued to be pleasantly present until spoken to.

At the entrance of the Dragon-ko, Narumi's eyes narrow slightly in deep thought, and her expression washes with something akin to remorse for only a moment before her polite and inviting smile resumes and she looks to Murato.
"Did you want a refill of your tea? Or perhaps some sake, Kitsu-san?"

"Sake would be nice," he says with a nod. "I hope you have been well since we last spoke?"
