She can tell that, despite the tension, the needed restraint, he's enjoying this time so close to her. "I think how you feel is worth a lot," he whispers. In his eyes it's clear he wants to lean forward those last, intoxicating inches to her lips, and relieve the strain they're both feeling.

But with a staggering force of will, he closes his eyes, letting honor and propriety reel him back in from that sweet, sweet brink of danger. Slowly, clearly having to force himself, he leans back to a normal sitting position. When he opens his eyes, they are colored with regret, but at least she well knows his regret is moving away from her.

"We, ah..." His mind struggles to form any coherent thoughts. "We'll do this again," he says confidently. Then realizing that that maybe isn't a great way to cap the conversation, at least adds a smile that is, by Stone Matsu standards, pretty sweet.

It certainly is with remorse that they part from being so close, and Narumi does so with an exhale of breath she didn't know she'd been holding.
"It's... probably best I get going," she returned his smile, and it matched his in the sense that leaving him was the last thing she really wanted to be doing.
"Tomorrow," she reminded him, and pushed herself to her feet, pausing as her head swam. Once settled, she exited!
