"Do you think?" He asks looking under his seat. Then lifting a sake bottle as though she could be hiding beneath it. "I'm sure she'd forgive you if she's actually hiding. That would be the type that enjoys fun and games I would guess."

"That's the type I would enjoy."

"I can imagine with the reputation of your family. A little bit of mystery likely goes a long way when marrying a Kitsuki I would guess."

"It certainly doesn't hurt." he agreed. "I am excited to meet who the nakodo feel is best suited for me."

Murato takes another drink and thinks for a few moments. "So how did this whole thing match up with your expectations coming in?"

"As expected, for the most part." he answered after a few moments of consideration. "I was matched without any personal attachment to my betrothed. However, the personal connections I did gain surprised me. I'm used to others keeping there distance."

"Well, there were a lot of outgoing people here. And I think many assumed that there would be people carrying around their pasts," he says with a smirk.

"I think most wanted to be on pleasant terms at least, without knowing who they would be paired with."

"Probably." he nodded. "Best not to make enemies at a miai."
