"You?" Nesshin asks. "I don't believe it!

"Tell me more!"

He smiles salaciously.

"Hm? Well, I got this.." she runs a fingerpad delicately over her lower lip, "right... over..." she looks around the bar for just the right secluded area and finds it, "-there."

"I hope you gave better than you got," Nesshin says, "but an occasional brawl's no great shame."

He sips at his drink.

"At least not here. Happens to all of us one time or another."

Narumi shrugs playfully. "I don't kiss and tell," even though that's literally what she just did. Half her cup is gone. Sad! Her brow furrows and she huffs air out her nose in a sort-of sigh.
"But really! A few days back I asked Bo-san if he'd marry me," colour floods her cheeks at that and she smiles dreamily.

Nesshin has drunk from his drink as Narumi answered. He finishes his cup and refills both as he asks "What'd he say?"

"He said he'd be happy to if the Deer end up matching us," oh! more sake! sweet!

"That's good news!" Nesshin offers, and it is, he knows, although I doubt I'll get any further than drinks tonight with you, he thinks.

"And I think it'll be Kaikoga Koi for me," he adds. "Since you showed me yours, anyway."

He winks. "Unless you want to show me something else, too?"

He drinks.

"Koi..." the name is vaguely familiar, and she thinks.. very hard.. through the fog, "Oh! Koi-chan! I met her in the baths a few days ago, she's lovely. Very pretty, you're so lucky," then she raises a brow at the wink and laughs, leaning in closer, "It depends what you have in mind? It's the duty of the Otter to entertain." Her cheeks flushed from the drinks, dark eyes warm.

Nesshin leans in closer, as well, so that their faces are scant inches apart.

"Well," he says, "I could show you another round, maybe, and then see about taking you for a late-night dinner."

He smiles, again salaciously.

"I have wondered what kind of spread the Otter would serve; I'd love to taste it."

"Hm, incredibly tempting..." she drawls, and tilts her face closer still, before kissing the tip of his nose. "If we hadn't just been discussing who we favoured, I might've reconsidered." Narumi moves to sit back again.
