"What happened with your lip?" Nesshin asks as he pours another round. "I mean, it'll be cleaned out, now, but still."

He looks around the room, sees the press of people.

The question is waved off, "Inoshishi happened," it's said with half a thought.
"You didn't answer my question. Or my kind-of question. Have you figured out who it is you want? And if so, how do you know you're sure?" Narumi slows down ever so slightly, and only empties half her refilled cup this time.

"Ah, the Agasha," Nesshin says, nodding. "I understand."

Do I ever.

"But about the question," and he drinks, "yeah. Yeah, I think I have. And it'll be a bit fraught, but, yeah."

He looks at her.

"What about you?"

And he tops off both drinks.

"...Hai," she was seriously contemplating the cup of sake, and not looking back at the Deer just yet. "I think so, too."

Half the cup is gone again, and her head is already swimming. Good.

Nesshin refills the cup.

"Something's clearly troubling you."

He pulls from his own drink.

"Somebody's kneecaps need breaking?"

She laughed genuinely and looked up, shaking her head slowly. "You'll have to get in line behind Raizo-san, he's got first dibs to dangle him over a wall if I get hurt."

Nesshin nods.

"I defer to Shiba-san," he says, "in this matter at least. But," and he pulls from his drink again, "is there anything I can do to help you? Maybe help you feel better, if nothing else?"

"The fine company of Shika-san is a good place to start," Narumi offers a smile and lifts her cup to him before downing the entirety.

"Flatterer," Nesshin replies, but he smiles as he says it, drains his cup, and refills both.

"So." He takes a deep breath. "Show me yours, and I'll show you mine."

She laughs brightly before glancing down at the amazingly refilled cup! Awesome! She exhales slowly, and picks it up, spinning it lightly.
"Careful, Shika-san, the walls have ears and eyes, and I've already done dishonourable things here the other night."
