Bayushi froze for a moment, his hidden gaze staring at the governor for a moment. Following that beat he bowed respectfully. "No threat is meant, Seppun-sama," he called out. "Only sake."

The boy looks to his hand that instinctively went for his blade and soothes it out as the Scorpion greets, "Soka... sake. Inari-kami has been kind, I hope. Join us. I am Seppun Yuzu. Governor of Chisei and about to get drunk. Please, treat me well."

"I am happy to offer my assistance in your task, Honorable Governor. The sake here is quite pleasant." He approached the group. "I am Bayushi Mitsu," he introduced to the governor. "Shiba-san, Susaki-san, it's good to see you again. I trust you all had a good start to the miai?"
