[Kitsu Moshumaru]

Moshumaru wasn't sure if Minae was going to answer his letter at all. But, if there was anywhere where people would be hush about conversations, it was the geisha house's private rooms.

This time, he had left more specific instructions - the key was under the desk, only to be show to Minae-san herself.

He knew what he wanted, and would likely need to give something to get it. The question is - what did she want from all of this? Were the rumours true?

A mysterious invitation to a geisha house by an equally mysterious Kitsu? Color Minae intrigued. After the usual entrance protocol, she was shown into the Kitsu's room.

"Ah, Kitsu-san, this one is Bayushi Minae." she offered with a graceful bow. "I believe you were expecting me? Unless the local spirits have taken to copying your handwriting for reasons amusing to them alone."

The Kitsu replied the bow with sincerity.

"If they have, Bayushi-san, it is to my benefit, as I was indeed expecting you. This one is Kitsu Moshumaru - writer for the records of the fallen, although that is not why I am here today."

He invited the Scorpion to join them.

"Shall I order us some tea? Perhaps dinner, if you would prefer? My treat, of course."

Minae smiled taking a place across from the Kitsu.

"Ah, I think simply tea perhaps. Something in an oolong I think." she says, sizing up the Kitsu.

The Kitsu nodded, ordering two oolongs.

"Thank you for joining me today. Let me start by congratulating you on your success at the events thus far - you have handled the myriad of challenges well indeed - at the top of the pack by day six, if I recall correctly, with only Asahina Bo-san as peerage."

Minae incliined her head at the compliment.

"Why thank you Kitsu-san. It's not like there is a title of Miai Champion, but it is always an honor to bring some amount of distinction to one's clan." she says.

Once the tea arrives, she'll take a sip.

"Asahina Bo is certainly an interesting speciman, ne? One wonders if he was perhaps blesssed by Ebisu, rather than Benten."

"Speaking frankly, I wonder if he's blessed by Musubi instead: I understand he already has several admirers and has found love, if my sources are to be believed."

"Not really my cup of tea, but with a miai this size, I'm sure there are bound to be those who find what they're looking for. Whether or not the Deer say they are to wed or not...well their ways ARE mysgterious." she says.

"I have a target in mind, but information is a currency that one is always willing to trade for." she said, intrigued by the Kitsu. "I assume there is something you would like in exchange?"
