There was a knock on her door, together with the smell of tea rice and ...candy??? Kheree it seems had confiscated one of the servants to bring some cups and a meal with her "Agasha-san, might this one interrupt your work with nourishment?"

Inoshishi hadn't been expecting visitors, but after checking to make sure she's appropriately dressed, which she is, if a bit underdressed, she goes to the door, opening it.

"Oh, hello Utaku-san! What brings you my way?"

"Well, I had heard that you had vanished in here, and by the words of the servants been so occupied that rice was not yet given to you. And so I felt a beautiful flower like you needs to be watered"

Inoshishi preens under the compliment from the pretty samurai-ko.

"You're right, I haven't eaten in quite some time. I appreciate the compassion. Will you sit, eat with me?"

"Where would my manners be if I bring you a meal, and then do not share it with you?" she says amused, and then whispers something into her ear.

Inoshishi smiles and nods, then laughs a loud at the whisper. "Ah, I see why you came here. Let me show you."

Inoshishi smiles, ink-stained fingers falling to her lap after she stoppers the ink bottle.

"I've been writing for the past while, actually. I went to watch the Lion train the other day and realized that they reminded me so, so thoroughly of some of the stories that I'd heard while I was out and about." She waves her hand lazily, indicating the walls beyond the Deer castle. "So I decided to write them down, each in their own small journal, so that the boys would be able to read them and perhaps keep them close as a helpful possession. I've just finished the one I will give to Matsu Ishioka-san. What sort of gifts do the Unicorn give each other or those they hold dear?"
