D9EA Just noodles, I swear (N's room, closed)

[Usogawa Narumi]

Her room had no need to be tidied- her aunt had make sure it had been drilled into Narumi from a young age that one kept their place free from clutter, free from strife. A small table is set in the middle of the floor and a few cushions placed for seating. Her lucky cricket chirped happily in its cage by her futon.
She had placed an order with the staff when she returned from seeing Pei Pei-sama for a light lunch consisting of noodles and a few small sides, and of course tea.
Even still, she found herself anxiously waiting and so she fussed with her hair in the mirror.

[Asahina Bo]

Floorboards not built for one such as he, as few in the Empire were, easily announced Bo's presence long before the Asahina himself did.

"Hi, is it ok if I come in?"

[Usogawa Narumi]

She heard him coming, and literally had no idea what to do with herself while his footfalls approached. Her heart threatening to start running and he wasn't even in the room...
"Asahina-san!" she smiled truly when he made it, "-please do. Um. Get comfortable? I had a few things brought up, it's nothing extraordinary. Hopefully it'll do?"

[Asahina Bo]

He carefully squeezed into the room and more carefully arranges himself into a sitting position.

"I'm sure it'll be fine. Plus half the good in eatin' is who you share the meal with."

[Usogawa Narumi]

Narumi beamed, before she realized she was standing at the door and staring at him. "Oh!" She pushed the door shut and moved to fold up comfortably next to him.
"That's really sweet... um. I'm happy you're here. Help yourself, don't be shy. Tea?" She offers to pour his cup for him.

[Asahina Bo]

He smiles happily in returns and nods, "Sure! How'd the mornin' go?"

[Usogawa Narumi]

His cup is filled first before her own.
"Hm?" He distracts her something fierce when he smiles.
"Oh! It was good! I saw Raizo-san in the gardens to shoot the shit first thing, then the event... which could've gone better... then a meeting with Shika Pei Pei-sama... and now I'm here! And you?"

[Asahina Bo]

"Um... I mean it wasn't really my thing but they seemed to like how I did? Even though I meant to pick the monk? I haven't even seen any plays."

[Usogawa Narumi]

"That's good! Oh! I uh, I've been to a few of the plays.. they've been.. variable? Some, I really liked, others were, hm, not to my taste; but that's fine!"

[Asahina Bo]

Bo nods, "Yeah can't say I reckon I ever really got them. It's like stories for those who can't read but the only folks who go are the ones who can read? It doesn't make much sense to me."
