Tanabe shrugged a little "depends on the boat. Such a thing would take up a decent amount of room which is a premium on most boats."

"Ehime Toshi in the Lake of Cherry Blossom Snow might have one but it would a pretty fancy Yakatabune that had room for everything we like to offer and also room for a large tub."He explained referencing their boats by name and referring to the only thing close to a holding the Otter had.

He responded with a wry grin.

"Hm. You know, sometimes on the march, we find an onsen. Congratulations, the Otter have officially found a way to be less comfortable than the infantry of the Phoenix."

Tanabe laughed "I don't know if I'd say that! The Yukatabune are considered luxurious by many floating restaurants, tea houses, geisha houses. Floating stages for performances. We just have to be practical with our room. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to use precious room for a tub of water when we have an abundance of water around us."

"Yeah, but in winter? Been there, done that, and it was awful."

"Yes special considerations made when the water is frozen. Us Otter are nothing if not adaptable."

"Imagine those winters can get pretty bad up in the mountains."

"I told Usogawa Narumi-san about one winter in particular. You can ask her about it if you're curious... but yeah. It can get a little rough."

He paused.

"And of course, it makes us deeply resentful of the lucky jerks who get to guard the seacost during the winter months. It's a lot nicer down there..."
