"Oh. I don't envy the matchmaker that will have to determine if her status means she is to marry in or out. Seems like a mess that will leave at least one of the side unhappy. Especially as somee people are already worried at being married under their status.

Well, unless she marries one of the many minor clan samurais also present. And supposing these samurais aren't themselves daimyo's child.

"It can, I agree", he nodded. "It can also be resolved by someone simply offering to join the other side, rather than trying to ply another for advantage...but what what do I know about fair deals?" He shrugged.

[Moto Mitsuki]

"Well, I cannot answer that question for you. However I can help circumscribe that answer with a few questions of my own. First, are you, on the side of your activity as a soldier, a fruit merchant?"

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"No."

His question was rhetorical, but he supposed the Moto was getting at something.

"Then worst crooks than you exist in this world.

Second question: Do you usually make deals more than one time with the same person?"

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

He chuckled, shaking his head. "I try not to, one thing at a time is less confusing and being able to put a matter to it's conclusion shows you care about your efforts."

[Moto Mitsuki]

"Sure, but did you do, and complete, several deals with the same person over an extended period of time? Or do people refuse to deal with you again after the first time?"
