Bayushi Mitsu came sauntering into the common room attired richly in a deep, dark red. He nodded to the other samurai. "Shosuro-san, Shiba-san. How is the breakfast this morning?" The full mask turned to the third man. "And Suzume-san - I don't believe we've yet had the pleasure. Bayushi Mitsu," he introduced himself with a slight, casual if respectful bow.

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"Not sure that'd be all bad..."

"Society is what it is regardless", Hikkmasu maintained with a grumble.

"Bayushi-san, good morning", the Shosuro bowed in greeting.

That was a lot

"Well told, Suzume-san. An important lesson."

but that was a lot.

"And of course, the empire is full of samurai, we are a people of warriors. If there was only go and poetry, there'd be nothing for men like us to truly shine at."

"Not sure that'd be all bad..."

The Suzume nodded to one man, then to the other. That didn't sound bad, that much was definitely true. And that came from a soldier...

He was still thinking about it, not quite ready to actually say something, when the other Scorpion joined them.

"Oh, I don't think we have. Suzume Senseki", he says, bowing low. "Douzo yoroshiku, Bayushi-sama. I hope the morning has found you well."

[Bayushi Mitsu]

"Oh, I don't think we have. Suzume Senseki", he says, bowing low. "Douzo yoroshiku, Bayushi-sama. I hope the morning has found you well."

"Indeed. Another day brings new possibilities, does it not? Yesterday evenings' events were quite curious...it will be interesting to see how the day develops." Bayushi looked at one man, and then the other, and then the third, his expression unreadable but his tone joyful enough.

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"There is room if you'd like to join us, Bayushi-san", the Shosuro offered politely. "And the previous days have been quite curious", he agreed. "People nearly stepping out of their own skin at these events at the very least has been entertaining, I am waiting for my turn."

[Shiba Raizo]

"Truly, it has been a parade of Things I Don't Have Any Tranining In. I'm still waiting for the 'Ikebana from horseback' event..."

[Suzume Senseki]

The Suzume actually looks at the two Scorpion somewhat curious, or confused. There had been quite a few events in which people - himself included - felt somewhat out of their element, that much was true. But then... perhaps was the point of all that - to find who liked what, who felt what while doing what - and a number of other wh-questions of the kind he couldn't quite fathom right now.

But then they seemed to refer back to the evening's events, and he couldn't quite remember anything in particular?

"Yesterday evening... you mean the drinking over honour as well, Bayushi-sama?", he asked with a somewhat neutral smile. But after the Shiba's comment he just had to change the topic...

"Ikebana from horseback?", he asked, letting out a soft chuckle. "Now that would be an interesting one!" He takes his hand to his chin. "Although that said... maybe one or another of these things might be something we ought to expect?"

He turns to all of them. "I don't quite recall if the Shika have a tradition of riding? If they do, we might be looking at that at some point..."

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"Oh they do, if the rumors are to be believed", Hikimasu said and finished his fish.

[Shiba Raizo]

Raizo laughed, then winced.
