Kyuden Shika

After such interesting event Oubaihime prepared her room for her visitors. She wanted to meet the delegates the Phoenix had sent to be wed. She feels she is the bottom of the pack even if many think otherwise.

Her room was quite simple. Her wakizashi was still wrapped in the ceremonial cloth, her bows were not strung and the quiver laid next to it. The small desk had some of the collected things she uses for making medicine up.

Raizo arrived, scratched at the door, and since his player was in a time zone and work schedule that made actually playing out being called in a ludicrously slow prospect, he entered after being told to do so.

"Hello again, Kaito-san. Hanging in there?"

"Hai..." The Kaito smiled. "I went shopping yesterday for a kimono and it was rather nice."

"Oh?"

He grinned.

"For anyone in particular, or just because?"

The Kaito girl smiled. "I was offered to go to the market... and well... I went out with Kaikoga Koi sama and Kitsu Murato sama..." The Phoenix girl shrunk in her seat a bit abashed. "I have a.... a... a date later with...Kitsu... Kitsu Murato sama... I hope it goes well."

"Kitsu Murato? He's a good man. Hope you two have fun. And Koi..."

He... smiled.

"I think she likes making sure people have a good time."

"I think we did. Even though Kaikoga sama left us in the end." She shrugged "So Kitsu sama and I had to go buy things together. I hope Renjiro sama is happy with his toy and his catnip."

Another Phoenix looked at the door to the Kaito's room suspiciously and with a frown, scratched at the door.

"That must be your cousin..." She opened the door to the other Shiba come in. "I hope you have been blessed today."

There was a slight narrowing of the eyes at the Kaito, and the frown held. But the man bowed.

"I have, Kaito-san. Thank you for the invitation." he said his voice serious. "As way of formal introduction since we have had none yet, I am Shiba Taemon."
