Bo had intended the breakfast he prepared for Narumi to be simple, if delicious, but things, as they so often did, got out of hand for the large man. As he moved among the kitchen staff, his smooth movements the closest he ever came to proper dancing, new ideas would come to him.

The Otter had mentioned liking a variety of foods and so as each new inspiration came to him he added it to the mix of pots, pans, and plates surrounding him. Despite the number on the go though none were neglected. Each cooked perfectly and was spiced, using the mix of those he brought with him and those provided by Narumi, with balance and skill.

The final presentation was not artistic, that was not in Bo's nature, but a breakfast feast almost as large as the man himself of perfect, if functional, dishes: tamagoyaki, donburi, okonomiyaki, hot noodles to beat the morning dampness, even using the hot springs itself - away from the bathing area - for onsen tamago, and more.

He looks a little sheepish when he realizes just how much he has made and portions out some of the larger dishes to the serving staff in thanks for invading their space once again.

Narumi had brought out spices earlier from her collection, picking from a few lands for variety. Of course she was interested to see what exactly Bo would create. She's sipping tea while she waits patiently, eyes on the windows, watching the rain fall.
The dishes are brought out, and draw her back in... Narumi can't help but grin at the feast! "Asahina-san, I don't know if this one can really eat as much as you, but I'll surely try... This looks absolutely delicious, you work magic in the kitchen, that much is clear."

Bo scuffs a foot sheepishly, "Uh... yeah... I, um, might have gotten a little carried away."

Her smile was a soothing one, and brimming with growing affection for the mountain of a samurai.
"There are far worse things to be carried away by than providing for others. Thank you, Asahima-san. You honour me by sharing with me your gifts."

"Well I mean you provided some of it too... I mean... you're welcome."

She nodded in quiet approval. "Ah so, shall we begin? As this is your creation, where do you suggest we start?"

He looks over the array of foods, "Uh... the onsen egg would be best to start. It won't be as good once it cools." He nods towards the eggs that have been soft boiled within the hot spring water before being lightly seasoned.

As she's certain her status is lower than his, she does the serving.
"Do you want to make a wager on what the matchmakers have in store for us this morning?" she asked with a wry smile.

He was used to just serving himself but when he saw the Otter reach to do so he didn't stop her, "Um.. I dunno. Yesterday was about our ancestors so I reckon maybe somethin' about our parents or about us?"

She glanced up to him. "I think something about us is a safe bet. Were I one to play games, that's where I'd put my money as well. In fact, maybe it is games. There's a lot to be gleaned about a person in a game of go."
