[D1, EM] What the hell is this, even?

Shambling quietly from the room closest to the entrance of the inn, a figure in black emerged. A loose piece of black cloth covered part of their mouth, their hair was disheveled and the slight groan might make a crab suspicious.
Arriving at the desk, Hikimasu saw the innkeeper and stopped at the desk, leaning against it slightly.
"Ohayou, Renjiro-sama", he yawned.

Renjiro looked up at the Scorpion, his own eyes somewhat disinterested, though not to the extent of the Scorpion's.
"Nyaa." he said, releasing a yawn of his own.

He scratched the cat behind the ears a bit, looking into the nothingness that wasn't there, but always present.
"People are awfully nice here, so far", he grumbled. "Do you think it's fake? Or is my own clan really that rude?"

Renjiro waved a paw, beckoning as a person might when they wanted you to lean in closer so they could tell you something secretly.

He chuckled slightly.
"Oh I see", he probably didn't. "So I shouldn't worry is that it?"
He was worried about not worrying.

Renjiro went into pounce mode. A short wiggle and a tensing of muscles was all the warning the Scorpion got before Renjiro leapt upon his shoulder, sinking claws into fabric to hold on.
