"I... don't like how eager to please you are, Scorpion-san. It's unbecoming. And reminds me too much of myself," a dark manicured eyebrow rises.

"After ages of not doing it on purpose, I'd have to say reminding someone of their poor qualities simply by existing is one of my greatest attributes", he said, now chuckling a little more. "So if I seem like I'm trying to please, I assure you I am not."

[Usogawa Narumi]

"I mean, if that's what brings you amusement, then more power to you," she smirked.
"I'd rather find more discreet nooks and crannies to poke in others, nudging them in directions that surprise even themselves to venture."

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"Hmm... well, liking it or not, you do seem fit well to the nakodo life", he admitted. "Though still there are a lot of positions in life where prodding nooks and secret places for a reaction is quite useful."

He scooped up his tea cup and poured himself more as he spoke, suddenly very happy for his mouth to have something to do other than talk.

"Ah so, there are certain parts I find very agreeable." she pauses poignantly, and holds out her cup for him to refill as well.
The words he chooses seem to settle quite nicely in her ears. "It brings a certain sordid delight to find out things about others that they'd rather keep to themselves."

He pours the tea.

"It's why I wear it all on the outside, the less interesting and easy to read you are in Scorpion lands the less inclined others are to take advantage of you", he told her and had a sip after pouring.

"But still, back to what we were talking about...adventures", he help up his cup in salute. "Perhaps you'd like to have a look around sometime", he inclined his head toward Yudaina. "Just the three of us."

"I suppose that would be amenable, if Scorpion-san can tolerate spending more time getting to know a lowly Otter nakodo."

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"I don't know a lowly Otter nakodo, just a pretty girl who smelled trouble and went toward it instead of running away", he said. "That's who I'm inviting."

He he closed his eyes to shrug and grin as he said that, trying to look cool wasn't his strong suit but he could try from time to time.

[Usogawa Narumi]

A genuine but short laugh escaped, and her cheeks reddened for a moment.
