He had spent the previous four hours making sure it wasn't all a dream. Making sure that his body still functioned, he could still feel pain, that he could still feel at all.

A part of him had wanted to rush, but there was still a little bit of decorum left in him.

He scratched the door.

"...Unsei?"

Unsei damn near threw themself through the door. It was a close call, truly, but they just barely managed to slide it out of the way before crashing right into their future husband.

"I honestly do not know why you knock." They said, before then trying to drag him into their room like some sort of depraved monster.

The Kitsu was happily lead, holding up his opened letter the entire time.

"It's real."

Is all he could muster.

"It's real, and I love you so much."

Master of words, this one.

They couldn't stop smiling, and honestly hadn't since they read the letter.

"It is. We're... we're going to get married. We're going to have a winter estate. We're going to get to spend forever together." Each word was punctuated with a kiss.

"I love you so much, my love."

"I know. And you have no idea how much I love that."

He answered the kisses with a longer, deeper one of his own, before letting his yakuta slip.

"One more for the road?"

"Maybe... a little bit more conversation before we make the inn rock?" Though they said that, their eyes were all but glued on him at this point as they struggled to control themself.

"How's everyone's reaction so far? There's some marriages in there that I wasn't expecting."

"I can only imagine-"

He began, respecting the privacy of those he spoke to,

"Raizo-san, Aimi-san and Soyokaze are bound to be unhappy, but apart from that I've heard no gripes or grumps. I've never spoken much to Kasuga-san, so I can't truly judge his reaction. Everyone else... I don't know."

He shrugged honestly.

"My biggest worry is Raizo-san and Aimi-san, truthfully. I don't care much for that Crane after what he did." They shook their head.

"He just seemed really after her. Now that she was picked for the Tortoise... I worry for both her and Raizo-san."

The Kitsu nodded, sincerely.

"We all are, I think."

"Whoever set them up like that was not bright. I think the both of them would probably happily actually burn this place down. Granted, I would have also burned this place down if I didn't get you, so it all works out."
