She hugged him tight. Word weren't needed to know how she appreciated the man. Murato a bit of her tears on his chest.

Her tears were noticed. He had only come to the edge of tears himself. He wanted to spend every moment of his life like this. Not in sadness, but in her presence, in her arms, and connected to her. Slowly he started rocking gently, back and forth, one hand on her head stroking her hair with the other rubbing her back to comfort her.

As the tears fell and rocking started she started to hum a lullaby. Even if it was the afternoon emotions can drain a person. Slowly she started drifting into Yume-do in his arms.

He lifts her, and moves to set her on his tatami. He would lay there next to her, stroking her hair, watching her breath and keeping her company until it was time to wake to continue the day.
