[D13 EA, Mura's] Favorite Meal

"A lost cat searching for a new home." He holds her close, their hands held between their chests.

"A cherry tree protected by the bird." The Kaito placed a free hand around the Kitsu.

[Kitsu Murato]

"A cherry tree calling the cat to it, bringing the two together," He presses his forehead to hers, nose to nose. The hand around her back pulls at her.

[Kaito Oubaihime]

"They played together and kept each other company in the rain." The girl nuzzled his nose with hers

[Kitsu Murato]

"The cat sometimes wandered off to explore, but always found itself returning to the bird and the tree." He smiled at their noses touching, his bright orange irises shifting to a yellowish part of the spectrum, right before her eyes. She wouldn't know it yet, but one day she would recognize it as an indicator of a strong feeling of contentment.

The Kaito blinked a few times as his eyes changed colors and shook her head. "The bird was unimpressive just the hues of browns and grays."

[Kitsu Murato]

From her reaction, he suspected that they had changed. Likely more abruptly than usual. But then... he had felt a sudden sense of belonging as they had flowed right into making up and sharing a story together. Like it was the most natural thing in the world.

"Browns and greys happened to be the cat's favorite. One day the cat spoke to the bird, confessing, 'When I met you... I found me'."

[Kaito Oubaihime]

"The bird was impressed by what the cat said that sang a happy song." The Kaito smiled. "even did a little dance."

[Kitsu Murato]

"Among all the creatures the cat had met, the bird was by far his favorite. The cat no longer wanted to explore anymore, not without the bird." Murato returned that smile.

[Kaito Oubaihime]

"The bird was still injured and couldn't go very far since the feathers of the wings were broken." Oubaihime lowered her head for him to kiss her forehead.
