"Well. It's certainly not bad wisdom. Bo-san, I was doing some thinking, about when we're on the River of Gold." She can't help planning, it's in her nature. "If we're lucky enough to manage our own Izakaya, you're still keen to travel? Albeit at a slower pace.. I don't know how often we could rightly up and leave, it depends on who you trust to be in charge in your wake."

He smiles and nods happily, "Oh yeah! I mean slow travel's better than no travel. Just sittin' and watchin' everyone else come and go."

[Usogawa Narumi]

Leaning lazily into him, she smiled warmly in return. "Hm no, I don't suppose so, but there is something to be said for sitting on the dock of a yakatabune, watching the shoreline crawl by. It's incredibly, ridiculously peaceful. Like nothing else, except maybe this moment here in your bed with you."

[Asahina Bo]

"Well I would love to get to see that with ya - just like I'm lovin' this."

[Usogawa Narumi]

She made a delighted sound at that. "I could get used to waking up to your face every morning... I don't, um, make it a habit of falling in love, as a rule. Let's hope it's not the last time I wake up with you," she said softly, and yet even as she spoke the words, a pit of dread began to form in the Otter's stomach.

He rests a comforting arm around her, "I'm sure it'll be ok. But, if not, at least we got today, right?"

Her eyes rimmed red and teared up at that, but she nodded before nuzzling into him again. "At least today."

He didn't quite understand why she was sad but, if his presence made it better, then he'd stay there as long as necessary.
