"So I am," he says with a smile. "Maybe I should share with our Sora then."

"It is full." The Kaito brought the bunny to the Kitsu. "But you can still try and feed Sora san." The priestess sat next to him with the bunny in her lap.

He pulls a small bit of cabbage from the dumpling before offering it to Sora. But as she said, the bunny seemed to be full so he popped it into his own mouth alongside the rest of the dumpling. He then moves to lay his head in her lap beside the bunny.

"Should I tell Sora a bedtime story?" He asks, scratching between its ears.

"It will enjoy a story from its father." She place her hand on his head and kept the bunny with the other hand from leaving her lap.

Murato put his hand over the one she put on Sora, his thumb brushing the bunny's fur.

"Long, long ago there lived, an old man and an old woman; they were peasants, and had to work hard to earn their daily rice. The old man used to go and cut grass for the farmers around, and while he was gone the old woman, his wife, did the work of the house and worked in their own little rice field..."

He told the classic story of a boy named Momotaru that had been born from a peach, and about his adventures. He even did different voices for the different characters, like the mother and the father and the dog, but Momotaru's voice was Murato's own.

"...The old couple’s joy was greater than ever, and the treasure Momotaro had brought home with him enabled them to live in peace and plenty to the end of their days."

The Kaito smiled at the memories. "You know they have a puppet show with this story in the Harvest moon festival." The priestess chuckled. "I think Momotaro and I have somethings in common."

"You both came from a peach?" he teases, as he settles onto his back and looks up at her. "Tell me why you feel that way? I want to know your heart and mind better."

He suspected it was because she wants to help people, but he wants to hear in her own words why she identifies with him.

He takes her hand and holds it to his lips.

"Oh my no... I came from a lotus flower." The Kaito jested."Actually, it is the friends he made... The angry dog who wanted to eat him, the playful monkey who like to tease the dog and the pheasant who was quite squimish." She giggled. "We like to make friends in our journeys... and help those in need."

"So... Am I the monkey in your story Momo-Bai?" he asked, a smirk on his lips. "Because I feel a bit like the monkey now that you say that."

"I guess you are." The Kaito ruffled his hair. "But the dog seem to want to kill the pheasant in my case." The priestess frowned and sighed.
