That was terrible.
Her facepalms lightly.

Bo, of course, could not detect terrible or awkward since it was his natural state of being, "Are you feelin' ok?"

"Never better." It was the absolute truth, and she picked up another piece of fish. "So you're okay? With um. Leaving the Crane? It's all you know." she brow furrows slightly.

[Asahina Bo]

"It'll be weird, can't lie about that, but a samurai does their duty. My duty is to go somewhere else so that's what I'll do." He shrugs a little, "And if it turns out to be somewhere nice... or with the right person... well all the better."

[Usogawa Narumi]

Can she blush any deeper? Her cheeks begin to hurt from smiling so much, and oh! she leans in closer and rests a hand on his arm, "We have what we call Izakayas... floating restaurants and inns. Maybe, if we're lucky, we'll end up manning one?"

"Um that would be amazin'!" He honestly looks as excited as a young child getting a gift.

[Usogawa Narumi]

"Wouldn't it, though?" she could've kissed him, and truly now she could die happy, but that would deny their future.
"When we end up at Ehime Toshi, I'll um.. I'll see what that entails, and do everything I can to make that happen for you."

[Asahina Bo]

Even he knew better than to adjust the when to an if in this moment, "As long as it's somethin' you think you'd enjoy too."

[Usogawa Narumi]

She avoids her formerly go-to answer of whatever makes x-san happy, makes this one happy, as she's learned a lot more about herself in the last two weeks then to put up with that sort of meekness anymore.
Narumi sits up straighter, and Bo wins an honest smile. "I don't want to go down the path I was headed. Not anymore, at least. So on that note.. Wherever we might end up, so long as the Shika will us to be together, I'll sort out where I'm meant to be, and do that duty to the best of my ability."

He nods, "That's the way I look at it too. But, yeah, if that was the duty that'd be a really swell one!"
