"Hai, I hear you. I guess in my case, I spend most of my time being preemptively upset about what's going to happen?" she lets out a small self-depreciating laugh. "I like plans, and courses of action, and knowing where I'm going. Like maps."

[Asahina Bo]

Another long slow ponder, "I suppose that makes sense. Not really the way my mind works, I guess, but I could see likin' it that way."

[Usogawa Narumi]

"Well any plan with you in it is a good one," she says quietly with a blush, "-but are we talking or are we eating?" Said blush leads to an easy grin.

He blushes a little in turn, "I mean I can do both but Doji-sensei would likely die just ta come here and haunt me for it."

His own blush makes her heart skip a beat before she retrieves chopsticks, handing him his set.
"So let's see if we can draw them out and you can tell me about your day while we dive in?"

He takes a few bites as he nods, "Uhhhh well the flowers seemed to go ok. Probably because Zang was judgin' though... not sure Pei Pei would have liked my approach as much." He takes a sip of tea while he ponders further, "Oh! Lunch was noodles, that was nice - made them good and spicy!" Another long deliberation, "Hmmm, oh, then Matsu-san wanted to hang out for a bit."

As she said she would, Narumi helps herself and has a few bites as well, nodding along politely. "Hai, i wonder where Pei Pei-sama was? Hopefully all's well..."

She glances to Bo and then promptly drops her chopsticks.
"I'm sorry, he what?"

Bo takes another bite and nods, "Yeah, seemed real upset-like at first. Thought maybe it was about yer lip but I guess not?"

Everything ground to a stop and Narumi paled.
"He...? That's so weird. Um. What was he upset about?" She pried.

Bo's brow furrows as he tries to figure out a response, "Uh... I'm not really sure? I guess maybe he thought I couldn't protect ya if we got matched? I mean that's an upsettin' thought I suppose. I'd hate to see ya get hurt because no one was protectin' you proper."
