D11EE Some like it hot (common area)

[Usogawa Narumi]

Narumi had met up with Bo in the common room of the inn at the agreed upon hour and they'd reserved a table. He left her waiting there with house blend tea while his giant form disappeared into the kitchen, while she patiently waited quite happily for his return. In much better spirits now that her hangover from the morning had loosened it's grip and virtually abated, she looked forward to sharing a meal with her mountain.

[Asahina Bo]

It did not take especially long for Bo to return as he had decided on a rather simple meal of chirashi though, as usual, the Asahina had very carefully selected the fish and vegetables to perfectly compliment each other and was well seasoned.

"Hope I didn't take too long?"

[Usogawa Narumi]

She lights up at the sight of him returning and sits up straighter.
"Not at all!" she grins at the dishes he's prepared. "Flawless again. You don't disappoint."

[Asahina Bo]

He can't help but smile, "Aw shucks. I'm just glad you like my cookin'. I'd say I don't have much more ta offer but I know you'd argue so I'll let ya win before it even starts."

[Usogawa Narumi]

Her lips part to do just that before she snaps closed and blushes, eyebrows raising as she shrugs. "I don't like to argue, as a rule," she counters, and moves to pour his tea for him.

[Asahina Bo]

He chuckles and nods, "Well it'sa good thing I skipped to the in... inev... the sure end of it. Can't say I'm much for them myself."

[Usogawa Narumi]

"Inevitable." She smiles and touches his arm lightly, on her way to picking up her own cup. "You don't let much get to you, do you?"

[Asahina Bo]

"Ineveitable..." He cocks his head at her question, "Um, I'm not sure whatya mean?"

[Usogawa Narumi]

"Hm? I mean you don't seem to be really bothered by a lot of things. I've never seen you get upset at anything, it all just kind of.. rolls off you. It's admirable, really. One of the many things I like about you, I guess," she smiles up at him over the lip of her cup of tea before taking a sip.

[Asahina Bo]

He ponders it for a while, "Well I reckon it just doesn't make sense to get upset over somethin' that already happened, ya know? By then it is what it is so you just move on and try ta do better next time."
