Kyuden Shika

Yuzu finally restarts to breathe in a normal pace as he enters the very clean and sparkling moment of the bathhouse where all the servants left and there was no one else. Just Yuzu and his warm, private bath tub. He sits on the wooden stool and starts to pour water over his body to remove any ill thoughts, and, of course, all the sweat from the tension to nearly have to face the Topaz Champion.

Coming out of the women’s wash down, Inoshishi enters the bathing area with her usual casual disregard for clothing, whistling aimlessly as she wanders towards the large pool in the center of the Onsen.

Yuzu hears the whistling and opens his eyes to see what was going on around.

And of course: there was a naked Dragon.

"Good afternoon, Agasha-san. I hope Inari-kami has been kind." He announces his presence after a moment of observation, while his gaze moves back to the sky above.

Inoshishi starts slightly, the movement sure to look quite interesting to a young man trying to watch the stars.

“Oh, you startled me, my lord Seppun. Perhaps you should consider wearing a bell? It might let people know you’re around. But you move so little when contemplating, maybe it wouldn’t help.

She stops, a look of inspiration and happiness on her face as she whips back around. Way too interestingly.

“I know, you could take up whistling!”

"I thought about putting a sign at the entrance announcing I would be here." He mentions. "Since the lone bath tub on top of the main onsen seems to pass by unnoticed."

Yep. That would have been sarcastic. His tone of voice doesn't denounce it, though.

"How has Agasha-san been faring these days?" He asks, still keeping his eyes up. Fortunately –– or unfortunately –– he has been trained to use peripheral vision quite well as a Palace Guard.

“Oh, signs never work. No one reads them. You could have a guard stand outside, but then I would think no one would come in. Which would surely bother Seppun-sama, given what a well known socialized you are. I’m telling you, whistling’s the way to go!”

She wanders to the edge of the onsen, turning around and falling backwards. SPLASH

His left eyebrow starts to twitch a bit. Splashing isn't quite the proper way to bathe in onsen tradition. It is actually pretty much frowned upon. Yuzu takes a deep breath to divert his temper, and thinks about the chat he had with another Dragon. About the two mountains up north and the Twin House of Light.

He shakes his head. The Tits House of Light.

"Ack!"

Yuzu shakes his head again and presses his temples, asking. “Has Agasha-san been to the High House of Light?"

A lazy, drawn out noise that could be mistaken for a yes comes up from the surface of the onsen.

"MmmmmmmHhhhhhMmmmmmmmmm"

A small splash as she rights herself in the water, calling up.

"Yes, it's quite nice! Very bright. Attracts the best Moths! Just ask Koi!" She giggles.

"You sure you don't want to come down here? It's much easier to talk and far more decorous than all this shouting! And it's not like I bite! Just ask Koi! Wait don't."

The young boy moves to the border of the bath tub to reply without the need to shout while looking down, “I rather stay up here. Thanks for the suggestion. Also, Agasha-san is referring to Kaikoga Koi-san?”

He rubs his hair, “I had no idea she went there.”

Inoshishi continues to float on her back, her legs kicking frogstyle, her hands just sort of floating. Her eyes would look upwards, of course, but she has them shut, not concerning herself with whether the boy was looking or not. Another lazy, drawn out affirmative sounds from below.

"Mmmmhhmmmm. Well, you don't imagine they stay in their village all winter, do you? She and I have known each other for many years. Those who climb the highest peaks are often quite well acquainted. Up there, you'd be happy to be in here, the warmth would keep your hair from freezing."
