He didn't want to make her uncomfortable, and though it best to appear his best to let her know her opinion mattered to him, as such things were proper.

So he made certain his mask was straight, smoothed out his kimono and made took a breath before rapping on the shoji gently.

Inside she was sitting at a table, a cup of tea , somewhat cold, before her while on her lap sat a dark bird who was being petted.

He entered and shut the door behind him. A bow. "Good afternoon", he said and paused slightly. "Kheree-san."

He stepped in and sat across from her.

"I've about got through mine as well", he said. "A silly story, but a good one. Some great personal courage shown, not in battle but I suppose we've learned there are other venues where its important." He kept his sitting stance straight. "You know, I'm quite proud of you, facing that problem."

"Well, dying would have been somewhat uncomfortable”, she says, shaking her head. "So where is the part of it that is likely to make someone proud of me?"

"It would have been easy to not believe me, considering", he told her. "At the time, it was two Scorpion making you believe two different things. You were on the path to ruin, but did it not feel good? Did it not bring you a manner of pleasure?" he shrugged. "As one who has seen what too much time in Ryoko Owari can do to someone, I saw it as a problem, I could only hope you'd trust me." He scratched the back of his head, not looking at her. "I never did anything really to gain your trust, I just saw someone who needed help."

She nods after a moment. "She was very ...tempting and stealing my attention, and while not the woman that moved me the most she was ... very tempting. And you are surprisingly trustworthy for a Scorpion, in a sense of ...I don't know how to describe it?"
