Murato had slept next to people before, sure. He grew up a Lion. Visiting family, cramped households, and all that stuff. But this felt different and warmer. When his eyes started to peek open, he saw the top of Oubahime's head, her smaller form curled up and pressed against him, his arms warpped around her. He does his best to not move in that moment of early morning grogginess. But with wakefulness came small changes like finger twitches and movements, changes in breathing, and a tenseness to muscles that wasn't there while unconscious. No matter how much he wanted to live in that moment his mere consciousness was likely to be enough to wake her and rob him of it.

The priestess slowly opened her eyes and yawned. The Kaito laid there looking at the man next to her who was taking care of her. The didn't need to talk just yet. She moved a stray hair behind his ear and smiled. Will she wake up to those eyes every day?

With her awake and looking at him now, he just looked to her with loving eyes, holding the embrace. Fingers drew small circles on her body. He bit his lower lip, through a smile, while thinking about how if he was truly fortunate this could be every morning.

Bai nuzzled on his chest. A whispered giggled could be heard. It was funny how he made her feel both of them were so nice and sweet with her. They had awoken a fire in her heart that was missing and now she shares moments of strife and happiness with them.

When she puts her face into his chest, he puts his lips on top of her head and breathes in. The scent of her hair is another reminder of that sense of happiness. "Good morning love."

The cool air of the rain made her cuddle closer. "Morning" The Kaito giggled.

"How is your leg?" he asks, moving a hand to where the bruise is, but not putting pressure on it.

"Much better... thanks to my nurse" She looked at his eyes and smiled. "Thank you"

"Of course," he replied, kissing her forehead. His hand slid up her leg to her waist.

"How about if we just stay in here all day?" he asks, joking but not.

"We have duties to tend to." She nuzzled on his chest "even if I like it here where is warm."
