"Because you are probably worried that you may end up in another place depending on betrothal," he says, but in as gentle a manner as possible. "The same reason I wonder who will care for the lost spirits back home. But I take comfort in the fact that my family will continue that work, just as your temple will. Plus, you may be able to bring help and support to a place that doesn't have your expertise in healing now."
