Renjiro started off down a different hallway. Again, he paused and looked back to make sure the Crane was following.

The oversized Asahina returns to following the proprietor. Others might comment on the intelligence on display but the cat but, to Bo, that made perfect sense. You wouldn't make a stupid cat owner of an inn after all.

The cat did not, in fact, lead the Asahina upstairs.

But he did eventually flop down in front of one of the rooms. Snaking a cat paw underneath the door, he clawed at it until it opened.

With the door open, Renjiro crossed the threshold, turned around, and gave a feline stretch in a close approximation of a servant welcoming home a samurai.

Another guest seen to Renjiro trots down the hallway back to the inn's entrance to hop back upon on his table and watch the place.

[Asahina Bo]

Always a light traveler Bo 'unpacks' by putting his traveling pack in a corner and setting his armor and yari near to the sleeping area. This was not his town to guard but old habits died hard... especially when they took so long to build up in the first place.

Once done he moved to explore the rest of the public areas of the inn.

[Usogawa Narumi]

Emerging from her room once it was set to her liking, Narumi stiffled a yawn and looked around the public area. She considered getting some rice, but the thought disappeared immediately upon sight of the beautiful, very large Crane, and the faintest beginnings of a smile touched the Otter's lips, curving their corners upwards.
However, her feet would not move, and her chest felt tight. This was cause for concern, and Narumi looked for a place to sit.

Emerging from her room once it was set to her liking, Narumi stiffled a yawn and looked around the public area. She considered getting some rice, but the thought disappeared immediately upon sight of the beautiful, very large Crane, and the faintest beginnings of a smile touched the Otter's lips, curving their corners upwards.
However, her feet would not move, and her chest felt tight. This was cause for concern, and Narumi looked for a place to sit.

While socially oblivious Bo was actually a very good guard on the technical levels as such he quickly noted the Otter... and her distress.

Despite his size his voice was soft in the moment, he knew he had a habit of spooking people if he forgot to keep it quiet... which was often in less potentially serious circumstances.

"Are you ok?"

Kuso! Kuso... swords....

His eyes darted to her hip in a panic.

Phew, ok, not two swords. It's ok to ask that if they don't have two swords.

[Usogawa Narumi]

Suddenly his face filled her vision, and Narumi's breath caught in her throat. A slender hand moved to her chest and she nodded a few times before blinking.
"I... should sit down. Will you keep me company, Crane-san?" Narumi blinked again, completely caught off guard with this reaction.
Usually when her heart acted up, it was the result of strenuous activity, and her needing to rest.
This was... the very opposite. She'd be doing nothing.

He offers a warm smile, "Um, sure, if that would help. Sure you don't want me to get you some water first? I know where the kitchen is."

The last part seems weirdly tinged with pride.

"Water... would probably be a good idea, as well. I'll await your return with earnest," not like she could exactly run away. Nor would she want to, Narumi caught herself beginning to smile again. This was turning into a most interesting morning, and it had barely begun.
