Narumi gulped. Then her air of easy approachableness resumed and she nodded happily. "I can't wait to share the time with you, Agasha-san!"

Inoshishi smiles once more, her eyes scanning the Otter appraisingly. "Yes, I'm sure it will be marvelous. Should we call the other two over? I recognize my cousin, she seems saddened. I wish, for once, I'd arrived on time. But I didn't, so no idea why she's that way. And who is that with her, an Asahina? I don't believe I've met him."

Narumi shook her head and shrugged lightly, "I've not met either before."

Inoshishi grins. This is a task she’s good at!

“Then come along, On…” she coughs. Nope, that wasn’t meant to be thought in the ‘out loud’ part of her brain! That goes out the mouth! Her cheeks color, but she rallies and continues with nearly no pause. “Usogawa-San, let’s go meet my cousin! l love her, she’s great, and a shugenja to boot!”

She begins walking towards the two shugenja, arm crooked in invitation, having narrowly stopped herself from claiming Narumi’s arm in the process. “Be right back, Moto-San!”

I mean. She didn't really have a choice, so Narumi followed close behind! Her whole point to being here, not being a seer in the slightest herself, was to mingle and see who was who, what was what. So might as well meet other candidates she'd yet to talk to.

As a certain Lion is fond of saying, Inoshishi is basically a force of nature when she gets a notion. With non-stop chatter, she approaches the Phoenix and Crane, talking over her should to the Otter. Which really seems like a great way to pin the Otter between politeness and a wall of word.

Snip?

“…so great, she works for the Water Dragon! Cousin-san! Can you believe I made it? I know, I’m late, but it’s not my fault the books took me on a circuitous route, I didn’t know what was happening earlier, but you look sad, so I brought my new friend Usogawa-san, who Otter make you feel better!”

She bows to the Crane with no pause at all, her words dopplering as her head moves swiftly towards the floor and back.

Snip?

“Hi, I’m Agasha Inoshishi! It’s a pleasure to meet you, you’re talking to my cousin, so I assume you’re really neat too! I tell stories, and sometimes shoot fireworks! What about you?”

She stops, like a mechanical clock or animation suddenly run down.

[Asahina Soyokaze]

Soyokaze was surprised but the sudden appearance of guests. "Yes, hello, I am Asahina Soyokaze, you seem to already know Kaito Oubaihime, it's a pleasure to meet you, would you like to join us?" He glanced at his Phoenix companion as the last of his halting sentence came out.

[Usogawa Narumi]

"...who Otter make you feel better!”

Narumi would've choked on her tea were she drinking any, and cracked a genuine grin at that before checking herself. Hm.
"Ohayo, Asahina-san, Kaito-san," she bows to both of them, "-this one is called Usogawa Narumi, and she's happy to meet you both."
She politely ignores the earlier upset and ...generous amount of whispering she'd seen going on.

[Asahina Soyokaze]

"I hope Inari has blessed you both. How does today find the two of you?"

[Kaito Oubaihime]

"It is an honor to meet you Usugawa sama." The Kaito bowed. "Agasha sama is nice to see you again."
