D2LA, Late Lunch (Expecting but Open)

[Kitsu Moshumaru]

Murato rose for a moment so they could all sit at the same time, properly. "Cousin," Murato greets with a smile.

"Cousin." Moshu replied with a smile of his own.

Following the cue, the Kitsu takes his seat within the newly formed group.

"Forgive me, I must have interrupted the previous conversation - should Iet it resume?"

[Shika Nesshin]

"That depends," Nesshin says, "on what you'll have to wet your mouth. If you're new, Okichi might be to your taste; having a plum flavor's usually a good thing."

[Kitsu Murato]

"Yes, just a bit of tea talk," Murato agrees. "I'm having Yuri, and enjoying it thoroughly."

[Kitsu Moshumaru]

Ah, the teas. For a moment, he thought they were speaking about women.

"I usually take my tea straight black, if that's of any help to the topic - The simpler taste is a humble, simple mix which is almost impossible to get wrong. Is there an equivalent here?"

[Shika Nesshin]

"Life must be lived," Nesshin replies, "and experiences experienced. At best, you find something new to value; at worst, you are reminded of the goodness of what you have known. I'd encourage you to try something different; even what our forebears did was different, once."

[Kitsu Moshumaru]

The Kitsu nodded to the Shika. He had his own reasons for his preference, but they were not worth a debate.

"By your lead then, Shika-san; you said the Okichi was good for those new here?"

[Kitsu Murato]

"What did I say?" he grins at Nesshin. "Simple and straightforward."

[Shika Nesshin]

"You did," Nesshin allows in response to Murato, "but you also noted that being here allows for sampling the local offerings.

"And, yes, Okichi," he adds to Moshumaru. "Unless you react badly to plums, in which case, Mayako."

[Kitsu Moshumaru]

"A 'bad reaction' - that would be a fair way to describe it, yeah."

A little more sullen than before, the Lion passed his order of Mayako and some boiled rice to one of the servers.

"If I may, Shika-san, do you know why the drinks are named after women?"

[Asahina Bo]

Floorboards creaked and strained and apologies were mumbled as Bo made his way into the tea house. That said despite his apologetic nature and bulk the large man moved fluidly through the crowd with a self-awareness of his size and the motions others tended to make to avoid it.

Fluidity of motion, however, did not help much in a mostly full tea house when it came to finding a place to sit... especially one that could accommodate one such as he.

The first time his eyes pass over an opening near the ongoing discussion he lets them keep traveling - Daidoji-sama always recommended he avoid Lion unless he had to. Unfortunately no other spaces quite large enough made themselves apparent before his eyes once again found that same opening.

"Um... hi. Hope it's ok if I squeeze past here?" He offers a somewhat self-conscious smile as he addresses the trio.
