"Hm? Oh no, I just have literally no idea where the Phoenix will send me."

"But you will still have a home in Shiba lands no? In truth I have no idea what happens when two young bushi wed, my mother and father were both shugenja but as a lord he rarely had to leave our home except for official business and mother stayed at home as well."

"My father has a house in Nikesake. My mother has a room in that house that nobody has slept in for at least the last six years. So there's no real obvious land I can picture."

He shrugged.

"A long family history of service to the Phoenix, but my mother was the youngest of four, so there's no estate associated with us."

[Asahina Soyokaze]

"Then my home will have to be even bigger, Bai already wants three children and to adopt some orphans, no reason our estate can't include you two." he laughed.

"I think children would be less trouble than I can be..."

"You keep discounting yourself but you have bene nothing but a blessing to me and I know Bai is also fond of you. There are at least three people here at this miai that care deeply for you and cherish you."

"So what of it? We call can't be Doji and Bayushi, you and I weren't meant for the courts and there is no shame in that. You have got to believe in yourself more."
