"This rain does seem excessive don't you think, the market is nearly flooded. The rain and heat remind me of descriptions of Mantis lands, not an inland forest."

Koi said softly eventually musing rather just to leave but there again she was stuck in the presence of both the Imperials. Oh did she want to pull Unsei aside, she didnt even seem to glance at Yuzu or pay him much mind.

She found herself instinctively fiddling with her cards shuffling them and glancing at them as one might do to get a feel for the mood of the cards that day as sometimes they can change depending on the day though uncommon it does happen.

"I will admit, I have not seen any omens about a flooding but I still think we should deal with it before it get's worse just in case." Koi said softly, and said tentatively. "Though Seppun Unsei-sama once we finished here, might I have a moment to discuss a matter that might wish to know?"

"Um... Anoo... Has someone asked the kami why they keep falling here?" She just asked out loud. Then blinked a few times not really thinking that her question was probably the stupidest thing to ask.

Koi raised a finger. "Good idea Bai-san." Koi said softly, leaning closer to her. "Hi, lovely. I do apologies for being in my own head earlier, I have a lot going on at the moment, I hope that didn't come off as rude." She whispered, flicking her fan over to cover her mouth as she spoke.

[Seppun Unsei]

"Seppun-sama," Bayushi spoke up. "Has it already been divined that there will be a flood, or some other disastrous weather?"

"Admittedly, no it hasn't. This could be perfectly normal, but generally when it hasn't stopped raining for days on end, you flood. From what I've been told anyway. But, given the casual nature the topic has been receiving, it's probably just me worrying about nothing." They waved a hand dismissively and sat back.

Unsei was blind a large portion of the time, but not always. Having been asked to give advice and such, Unsei had been watching their cousin for what could be the issue and it wasn't quite difficult to guess after the flickering look.

Ah. Poor sap. He will definitely not want my advice for that.

"Need a moment, cousin?"

Then their attention flicked to the rest of the conversation, paying attention to what was being spoken elsewhere.

He shakes his head and then bows apologetically. “Thank you, cousin. We should talk later. I think I did not drink enough tea, or water for that matter. If you excuse me.”

Koi's eyes hardened, the jade in them turning an emerald green and breathed out a warning. "Careful to what rumours you listen to Kaito-san. You never know when one is wrong."

Koi felt angry at Oubaihime and rose decided to make a conscious decision to try and mend bridges.

Koi moved away from Oubaihime and approaching Seppun Yuzu as he went to leave. "Seppun-sama, if there is something ailing you? I can have a look through my clans abilities to see if there is anything wrong with you spiritually? These bad feelings might be tied to something."

She hated to approach the Seppun but all the dreams, and worrying about Unsei has bothered her. She wanted to help.

She turned to Unsei with a bow of her head. "I have been wanting to apologies for our first encounter when we met in the sake house, I do not do good with crowds, and found myself overwhelmed for that I apologies."

Koi took a deep breath before saying. "For the past few days, I have had dreams about you Seppun Unsei-sama. More than your traditional glance into Yume-do for I know them to hold a deeper meaning, and prophetic. I have for the past few days considered how to approach the subject without drawing too much attention or cause unnecessary fear but it would be plainly irresponsible of my clan's duty if I did not offer you my insight and offer aid since we are here."

Koi bowed low, to both of the Seppun's. She was being genuine, no game, no falsehoods in her apologies.

[Seppun Yuzu]

The boy raises an eyebrow at the request. Would she bewitch his cousin, now?

Yuzu could not let that happen. He replies, "I would not want for Kaikoga-san to go deeper into this topic. As much as she could help, I believe my Family is trusted of providing the proper remedy."

Yuzu looks at his cousin, and back to Koi. He holds a moment to check his cousin's reply –– hoping he was immune to her charms. After all, he was appointed to become one of the Miharu, from what he last heard.

[Seppun Unsei]

Unsei looked over to the Moth and their cousin, pulled out of whatever pondering they had been in not a moment before. For once, their On was firmly in place and they seemed more fitting of the Imperial name that they had. They let a bit of silence drag out before finally speaking up in a perfectly controlled tone.

"Do you believe the teachings and techniques of the Seppun Astrologers are not capable of guiding and helping those who wish them, Kaikoga-san? That the techniques that protect the Emperor himself are incapable of aiding a fellow Seppun? That instead the teachings and techniques of a minor clan are..." They trailed off for a brief moment. "Better?"

Unsei slowly stood up and looked steadily on at Koi. "Then you insinuate that I have not been able to witness portents in my own future. Only you have seen such... worrisome things about me and yet never thought to contact me until now. In a room full of others?"
