Offered for a third time, he nods and his chopsticks fetch one of those mushrooms and with a short prayer to himself the swallows the thing to savor it. When Inoshishi mentions Seppun children, though, the boy actually chokes on the treat.

He looks to one side, and then to the other, gasping for air. With a sudden movement toward his tea, he takes a sip and avoid a potential death by mushroom.

"Go-" He coughs, not completely recovered, and tries to repeat, "-men, gomen."

Waving negatively to any help servants or even the Agasha could try to provide, he takes a moment to regain his breath.

Inoshishi's hands fly to cover her mouth as the Seppun boy begins to choke. Not knowing the Heimlich (or even being willing to try the Heimlich on such a rarified personage), she watches as he chokes and tries to breathe.

Externally, her eyes flicker slightly, but her hands in front of her mouth also serves to keep her hyperventilating in check. A massive mountain? That she could handle. Angry boar? Those she could handle, as long as one meant the animal not the dead clan. Having no money? Please, that was easy. But a choking Imperial? Nope nope nope. It's a wonder the poor thing doesn't bolt right now.

"Soka." He takes another sip and then rests the cup at the tray. His eyes scan the mushrooms once more while he adds, "I don't think it is allergy. Don't worry."

Another series of coughs and he provides a polite bow to the Agasha, "It was a pleasant morning, Agasha-san. I'll treasure the moment, if nothing else. If Agasha-san would excuse me..."

She rises and bows, recognizing that this occasion has concluded in the only way possible: failure.
