[D5: EM] The Calling of Mothra [Expecting]

[Kaikoga Koi]

Koi was tired, her back was sore from running around most the the night and she had only just changed into dried clothing as her night had been intensely active. She was perhaps not in the best state she could be in regarding to general mental health but she has a lot going on at the moment, and the narrator thinks we should give Koi a small break.

She walked up to the entrance to the Upper levels and with the voice of a bushi. "My name is Kaikoga Koi, of the Moth Clan. I wish to speak to Shika Reni-dono, please. It is important."

[Kitsu Murato]

Murato also came along, cleaned up and available to answer questions or confirm the events of the night. He was not quite so tired as he had slept in the afternoon yesterday, but his legs were a bit sore from the running.

[Shika Nesshin]

Nesshin, having been involved, and having toweled off a bit, reports in, still attired as if for work. He does doff his hat, though, and racks his spear outside the chamber.

[Kaikoga Koi]

Koi glanced at the Lion and the Deer still processing the night before. "We are in this together, I am not out for any gain or anything selfish. I am your friend, and hope that we would all remain on the same playing field." She said softly. "You all where there, protecting and aiding me. You each did your duty, and I thank you with all my heart."

She straightened, and awaited the answer.

[Shika Nesshin]

Nesshin, a samurai reporting to his lord, stands silently, though he gives just the barest nod.

And when his lord enters, as he will, he will drop immediately into a full zarei. It is, of course, only correct.

But that'll happen when it does.

[Kitsu Murato]

Murato was a Lion so this type of meeting with lords and daimyos, even if not his own, in stick up the butt mode. But he still looked to Koi with the slightest hint of a smile and a nod. Normally he might say something back, and his instincts told him to respond, but his training told him to wait until after the meeting.

(Here we go!)

After a long exhausting night, the trio were led into a receiving room of the daimyo.

Renji looked over the somewhat weary band, and instructed the servants to bring a strong black tea for his guests.

"Good morning, Neeshin-san, Kaikoga-an,a nd Kitsu-san. Have you had rice today?" he asked.

[Kitsu Murato]

He bowed very respectfully to the Champion upon arriving, undoubtedly along with the others when they did the same. "Good morning Shika Renji-sama. I had a bit, yes. I hope that Inari has blessed you as well," he replied. He had eaten some rice cakes from his traveling pack, so he wasn't starving.

[Shika Renji]

(GM's gonna fast forward a little bit here given the time zones and such).

After the proper greetings and requisite small talk along with tea had been gotten out of the way, it was finally time to get to the matter at hand.

"Well then, what brings you three to my rooms so early in the morning?" he asked attentively.
