Hikimasu was outside getting his calm in order. He saw Emiko still inside, walking out. Maybe he should say hello, or apologize for almost bumping her earlier, or maybe she wanted to be alone, or maybe he should take care of himself first

Or maybe he should really stop staring while he thinks about it.
Emiko could feel a staring on her, and looked to her side to see who it was.

"Oh, Shosuro-san!" Emiko said, making her smile bigger and bowing "I hope you are well?"

Hikimasu looked away, chuckling nervously.

"Goodmorning, i hope you've had rice", he managed. "Matters are settled with the nakodo, somehow", he said. "And you?" He peered at her sidelong.

Hiroto frowned with a glance at some of those who were clearly unrattled by the event.

"Not for everyone, I think." he groused.
Oubaihime shook her head. "Memory is not my strong suit... but I just try my best and hope that it is enough." The girl tilted her head and smile. "You tried your best, right?"
Hiroto puffed up his chest.

"Of course...but" he started before looking somewhat defeated.

"It's....hard to tell a story, when you only know half of it, ne?" he offered, not really wanting to go into his lineage here in the hallway.

She smiles at her , slightly leaning in in a manner that tries to be protective ." Don't worry, I have heard that this happen often to cute Samurai-kos, , even if I think you might know more about it then I do " a moment of pause " Moth?-san"
Oh fortunes, so up close, with Fujiko stuck between the wall and the pretty lady, she really was pretty tall, wasn't she? And, well, pretty pretty, too. It took Fujiko all of her willpower not too look even more respectfully than before.

"Ah, erm, um... Kaikoga. Kaikoga Fujiko. From the moth, yes." She gulped. "And who are you," she paused for a moment too. "Pretty lady-san?"

On the plus side, Fujiko was mortified enough to forget all about her declining health.

"That is the spirit. At least you remembered half your story... I barely was able to recall any of mine. But I did my best and that is good for me and should suffice to you." She nodded. "Hai!"

"I have indeed, as well as a lovely bit of I think it was salmon with it. Very lovely" Emiko said with a laugh "I hope Shosuro-san did also?"

Her smile wavered slightly talking about the matters but it came back.

"Ah, I don't think I was all that impressive. I'm really bad at history" she admitted a little embarrassed "plus although I knew my grandmother, nobody ever really talked about ancestors, and the Otter is only 40 years old."

"Oh, well...aren't your mother's people part of your ancestry?" he asked, like that wasn't obvious somehow, it just kind of came out of his mouth.

Hiroto was definitely on his back foot. It was really hard to stay angry around the Kaito.

"Um...but...aren't you concerned? People seem to thing lineage is really important." he says, a bit grumpy but mostly placated.

"No... perhaps for some knowing the lineage is important and remembering them in this..." She looked around. "Scenario is not quite the best but you know who you are and how you got here. Isn't that important as well, knowing who you are and where you came from."

Hiroto considered that.

"Hmm, you have a good point, I have to admit you have a point, Kaito-san." he said, preferring that viewpoint to the viewpoint of lineage being everything.
