While the interviews with Pei Pei are private, candidates still line the hallway awaiting their turn, or simply loitering after their interview. To take their mind of the interviews, many converse with their fellow candidates.

After exiting the room where Pei Pei interviewed her, Sakura seems... confident enough, smiling serenely. She did not, she thinks, do perfectly... but she made a good enough showing for herself.

With her riding coat, her riding boots and her war-time face paint, Mitsuki couldn't have looked any more Moto unless she had brought her horse down the hallway with her. Soyokaze exited the interview chamber looking as pale as a snow maiden, whatever had happened had not gone well but eyes held within them a hint of determined pride and relief. He paced around around for a bit deep in thought before considering leaving for less crowded places.
